Skin is the largest organ in our body and can weigh as much as 2.7 kgs. Our skin is made up of 70% water. Our skin protects us from harsh environments; it helps to maintain an effective body temperature and assists the immune system to combat disease. It also excretes toxins and communicates sensations. Arura Tibet Nourishing Skin Cream is specifically for dry skin and is a combination of natural ingredients. Ingredients such as apricot kernel oil ( Kham-bu ) and evening primrose ( Wangdu Metok ), geranium ( Ga-thur ) have been used in Tibetan Medicine for thousands of years. These products are as natural as they get and the ingredients are as follows -

 Jojoba oil easily penetrates the skin and provides a protective barrier.
 Apricot kernel oil is good for sensitive and dry skin, with excellent skin softening qualities.
 Shea butter is high in saturated fats, and an effective moisturiser that stimulates cell growth.
 Evening primrose oil is high in gamma linolenic acid and excellent for mature skin.
 Vegetable glycerine is a humectants and a natural moisturiser.
 Aloe vera gel has anti-inflammatory properties and is high in Vitamin B12.
 Vitamin E is an anti-oxidant, and smoothes dry and rough skin.
 Geranium rose hydrosol has a balancing action for the skin, helping to regulate hormones. It also soothes irritated skin.
 Lavender essential oil is both anti-bacterial and anti- inflammatory. It also has a calming effect on the skin.
